A man has died following a serious two-vehicle crash in the state’s Hunter region yesterday afternoon.
Just after 4:30pm, emergency services were called to the New England Highway, Ravensworth, following reports a ute and sedan had collided.
The driver of the scene, a 60 year old man, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the ute, a 57 year old man, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
