Thieves have made off with a small amount of cash following an armed robbery at Evans Head overnight.
Police are looking for three men of Aboriginal appearance who entered the sports store around 5am.
“and confronted the shop assistant wth a knife and a wooden bat or similar.”
Meanwhile police are warning people in the Ballina and Lennox Head area to be vigilant, following a spate of break and enters in the past two days.
“unfortunately they would appear to be covering their heads and concealing their identity.”
