A Tabulam policeman has been honoured with a major award for his work in the local community.
Sergeant Grant Martin was recently named the Police Commissioner’s Customer Service Officer of the year, for his work in improving relations between police and indigenous youth.
Not only that, Sgt Martin has also spent his off-duty hours getting a junior rugby league team off the ground as well as helping young adults get their licences.
