PROWAKE SHOW DRAWS STRONG CROWDS

Competition was fierce at the ProWake Show wakeboarding event in Grafton at the weekend.
The world’s top wakeboarders carved up the Clarence River with aerial tricks, and choreographed waterskills, in front of thousands of spectators who braved the rain.
And the Aussies performed well against their international competitors.
22-year-old Brenton Priestley from Melbourne was the overall winner, with Queensland juniors Cory Teunissen, and Dylan Prideaux in second and third place.
The event was the national qualifiers for August’s Wakeboarding World Championships.
