Police are investigating a violent break and enter in Glenn Innes.
At about 5.20 yesterday morning, a 28-year-old woman and 29-year-old man were asleep in their house on Church Street, when a person broke in with a knife.
During a scuffle, the intruder allegedly struck the male occupant in the face and ransacked the house.
It’s thought a second person may have been outside the house at the time of the attack.
