SUNDERLAND AND JENNER TO REPRESENT AUSTRALIA IN TOUR DE I’AVENIR

Armidale’s Sam Jenner and Inverell’s Dylan Sunderland will represent Australia this week, as part of the national under-23 team set to contest the Tour de l’Avenir.
The event emulates the Tour de France, and is considered a stepping stone to high honours, and could potentially lead to a professional world tour contract.
It’s the 55th edition of the tour, with the 10-day event taking riders across France, from Brittany to the Alps.
The format is open to men aged 19 to 23.
