New South Wales cricketer Kara Sutherland has returned to the mid north coast this week, to encourage more girls to get involved in the game.
The former Grafton player has spent two days visiting schools across Port Macquarie, sharing her experiences and giving advice to budding players.
The 20-year-old also talked about her gruelling training schedule and the importance of finding a balance between education and sport.
The left-arm fast bowler encouraged students at St Paul’s High School to get involved in the local 15/15 women’s Friday night competition.
