There’ll be no easing into the New Year for Inverell cyclist Dylan Sunderland, with the 21-year-old heading to Victoria today ahead of the National Championships starting on Wednesday in Ballarat.
The under-23 rider will compete in the 33-kilometre Criterium on the opening day, before saddling back-up for the 139.2-K road race on Saturday.
It will also be Sunderland’s first appearance for his new team, Bennelong SwissWellness.
