It’s been a long eight days for 28 bike riders who’ve cycled more than 1,000 kilometres
between Narrabri and Newcastle, raising money for Ronald McDonald House.
“A little bit of pain and suffering, we might have had you know, standing up, sitting on the seat, riding in the rain, is nothing compared to what the kids and families go through.”
The group raised more than $300,000, which will be split between the charity’s Newcastle, Tamworth and Forster campuses.
Riders were treated to a heroes welcome, as their journey wrapped up this afternoon.
