Wauchope Public School has taken out the major honours at Port Macquarie’s annual Schubert’s Sevens rugby league tournament at Stuart Park.
The side finished the day on top in the open division, ahead of Port Primary.
The tournament attracted primary school teams from across the district, with competitive and non-competitive divisions being contested.
The event is designed to promote the game among the primary school ranks, and the girls weren’t forgotten with a modified league tag competition.
