Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies has tied the knot in a home-town wedding in Newcastle.
The 30 year old married his sweatheart in a ceremony at Christ Church Cathedral this afternoon.
Supported by frontman Daniel Johns, the pair shied away from our cameras, with the help of some security guards.
It’s a big year for Gillies and Silverchair, with the band preparing to release a new album.
