Newcastle’s Fix Our City campaigners have issued a freedom of information request to the state government, to obtain a study due for release three months ago.
It analysed costings on cutting the rail line and building a transport interchange.
Meanwhile, hundreds are expected to attend a Fix Our City supporters rally at Newcastle City Hall from five o’clock tomorrow night.
At the same time, Save Our Rail will hold a rally across the road in Civic Park.
