Today’s constant rain didn’t stop the region’s finest senior female golfers from taking to the green for their annual tournament.
Undeterred by the soggy conditions, 120 players took to Bellingen Golf Course for day one of the two day singles stableford competition.
In the event’s 37th year, players representing clubs from Bulladelah to Woolgoolga will play in several categories, including the super veterans for players aged over 70.
The ladies are hoping for finer weather for their second day of competition tomorrow.
