A war of words continues to rage between two rescue helicopter services.
NRMA’s Careflight has been fundraising in Taree, even though the area is mainly covered by the rival Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.
Westpac Rescue is now asking Hunter residents to think twice before donating to Careflight, if it ventures to the region.
“There’s really no need for these guys to be out in the regions’ fundraising. They don’t go there and they should stay away.”
Careflight says it provides a statewide medical service, and needs to fundraise.
