A shed at the old Tamworth saleyards has been destroyed by fire overnight, after bales of hay caught alight.
Rural Fire Service crews were called to the Goddard Lane facility around 11:30 to find the wooden structure burning.
The RFS assisted three Fire and Rescue teams to cart water to the blaze after difficulties accessing nearby stores.
Firefighters brought the fire under control around 1:30 this morning.
It’s not considered to be suspicious.
