Moves are afoot to discourage hoon behaviour in Cessnock.
Mayor Alison Davey says it’s become a major problem in the area, especially at places like Baddeley Park.
She’s raised the idea of creating signed No Burn Out Areas across the city.
She says a similar move has been successful in Victoria, resulting in a drop in road accidents and neighbourhood disturbances.
