Newcastle and Port Stephens councils will meet tomorrow to look at encouraging other Hunter councils to invest in their jointly-owned Newcastle Airport.
There are long-term plans to expand the facility, and the councils also want to negotiate with the Defence Department to extend the site’s lease, in order to encourage further investment.
