Organisers of the Grafton to Inverell Cycle Classic have confirmed 300 riders will compete in this year’s event.
The competition which takes place on October 22 will feature nine teams, which includes 29 ladies who’ll compete in the Classic de femme category.
The gruelling 228-kilometre event has also thrown up a new challenge for riders, who’ll have to contend with a course change this year.
The event is widely regarded as Australia’s toughest one-day cycling road race.
