Newcastle wheelchair athlete, Kurt Fearnley, has been named a co-captain to lead the Australian Paralympic team to this year’s Rio games.
He’ll join six-time Paralympic competitor and para table tennis player, Daniela Di Toro.
The pair are the country’s first team co-captains since 2004.
Fearnley is a three-time Paralympic gold medallist.
