Port Macquarie swimmer Mekayla Everingham will compete in the New South Wales Country Championships in Sydney this weekend.
The 18-year-old has started the year on a high, claiming gold in the 100 metre breaststroke at last month’s State Age Championships.
Everingham has just moved to Sydney, where she’ll start a university degree and swimming scholarship.
