- Australia’s highest court has reinstated Gerard Baden-Clay’s murder conviction for killing his wife, Allison. Baden-Clay has no further avenues of appeal, and will continue to serve his life sentence.
- There have been bizarre scenes on a beach in Bali, where an Australian mother and her British boyfriend have re-enacted the bashing death of a police officer.
- And US rapper Chris Brown has been arrested after a more than 12 hour standoff with LA Police.
