Former NRL star, Craig Field, has been sentenced to at least seven and a half years behind bars for the manslaughter of a Cudgen Creek farmer.
Field killed Kelvin Kane in a single punch attack outside Kingscliffe Beach Hotel in July 2012.
Field’s family cried in Lismore Supreme Court, when he was sentenced to a maximum of 10 years gaol.
