TILLIGERRY OYSTERS GET THE ALL CLEAR

There’s been a welcome development in the Williamtown RAAF base contamination story with oysters grown in the Tilligerry Creek area cleared of harmful pollutants.
The state’s chief scientist, Professor Mary O’Kane, today confirmed that Food Standards Australia found the oysters don’t pose a health risk.
Test results on fish from the affected areas are expected to be released on Friday.
