WYONG TO FACE CESSNOCK IN REAL NRL DECIDER

Wyong has set up a grand final showdown with Cessnock in the Real NRL, after the Roos disposed of Kurri in the preliminary final.

It was a scrappy start to the game before Jayson Mackenzie crossed first for Wyong.

Following an early penalty, former Knight Reegan Tanner responded for the Bulldogs, to give them a 2-point lead.

But Wyong responded with a massive effort, going 80 metres to grab the half time advantage.

After the break, the Roos went further in front thanks to Wes Tillot.

Knights hooker George Ndaira gave the Bulldogs a shot at victory when he crossed.

But Wyong had the last laugh, with Mackenzie grabbing a double and the Roos a grand final berth.
