Former Australian netball captain, Anne Sargeant, has shared her knowledge of the game with young players in Port Macquarie.
In town for a charity commitment, Sargeant spent most of yesterday at the netball courts putting groups of juniors through their paces at coaching clinics.
The sessions are all about helping the young players develop their skills on the court while promoting confidence and enjoyment of Netball.
Widely regarded as the “face of netball”, Sargeant represented Australia for 11 years and was the first inductee into the national Netball Hall of Fame.
