DISAPPEARANCE REMAINS A MYSTERY

The whereabouts of Armidale man, Bill Roach, remains a mystery, with the coronial inquest into his disappearance adjourned today.

Bill Roach vanished on New Year’s Eve in 1993, and years of searching by his family and police has failed to find any trace of the, then 25-year-old.

Coroner Michael Holmes adjourned the inquest in Glen Innes, until December, with a number of witnesses and evidence still to be examined.

Police are hoping a $50,000 reward for information leading to the whereabouts of Mr Roach may spark some fresh leads.

His mother remains equally hopeful.
