Police are looking for the driver of a white Ford Falcon, after he rammed a police car, following a pursuit in Mayfield overnight.
The male driver failed to stop for police at about 11.25pm in Crebert Street, prompting a chase down a dead-end street.
Officers then got out and approached the male driver, before he reversed and rammed the front of the police car and fled the scene.
The marked police car was severely damaged, and unable to be driven and the officers suffered minor injuries.
The Ford involved in the incident is described as being a white Falcon, with registration BL86WU, and is believed to be a 1999 model.
