An elderly New Zealand tourist escaped serious injury when he slipped and fell while fishing off Coffs Harbour’s south wall this morning.
Emergency services attended the scene when it was reported a man was trapped between rocks.
Nearby fishermen came to the man’s aid and lifted him to safety.
Despite being knocked unconscious for a short time, the fisherman received only minor cuts and abrasions.
