Ausgrid workers in Ourimbah walked off the job this afternoon, in opposition to the privatisation of the poles and wires network.
With the Baird government re-elected, the Electrical Trades Union say it’s now more important than ever to secure a fair pay outcome and improved job security.
“Today’s action no doubt sends a strong message to management that negotiations have broken down, and that they can expect future industrial action of they’re not prepared to come back to the table.”
