A teenager has suffered lower back injuries, after falling several metres at a quarry at Port Stephens.
It is believed the girl was attempting to jump from rocks into nearby water, however misjudged the distance.
She was treated on scene, before being airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
