A Tamworth farming couple have been named as one of three finalists in the New South Wales Farmer of the Year Awards.
Egg producers, Bede and Narelle Bourke, operate a caged egg farm, along with cropping, beef cattle, prime lambs and feed lots on their Tamworth property.
Judges say they were selected for their ability to demonstrate innovation, business management, and involvement in their industry and communities.
The winner, who will collect $10,000, will be announced at the New South Wales Farmers Association conference at the end of the month.
