A day after comforting a mother and her young son involved in a head on collision south of Cessnock, the Labor candidate for Paterson has asked her opponent to draw a line in the sand on council amalgamations.
It comes as concerns still linger over Bill Shorten’s ill-fated policy announcement at Testers Hollow.
