National concert series ‘A Day on the Green’ is returning to Armidale at the end of the year with organisers setting the date for Saturday November 21.
Music lovers from all over the state will visit Petersons Winery for the event, which didn’t take place this year due to a clash in dates.
Mayor Laurie Bishop says the concert has been a big tourist drawcard in past years.
“To ensure there was sufficient facilities open on the day after we had like a voucher system that provided opportunities for people to use local shops and local coffee shops and restaurants.”
The music line up will be announced in the coming weeks.
