More than 100 of the city’s best surfers are helping in the fight against the aggressive disease, Sarcoma Cancer.
Representing six local Boardriding clubs… they competed in a Tag Team Event at Palm Beach, raising funds for the Hannah’s Chance Foundation.
It was formed after the death, in 2007, of swimmer Tracey Wickham’s daughter.
“We have raffles here but it’s about making sure that everyone’s aware of sarcoma cancer and detecting any signs of the cancer early.”
The Mermaid-Nobby-Miami Club club took out top spot, breaking the Alley’s three-year winning streak.
