BUNK BEDS IN VISITING ROOMS MAY HELP ADDRESS OVERCROWDING AT FRANK BAXTER CENTRE

The manager of the Frank Baxter Juvenile Justice centre at Kariong has applied to have the facility’s visiting rooms converted into cells, to address overcrowding.

It comes just weeks after a young inmate was allegedly sexually assaulted, while he was sharing a room with three other people.
