A day of upsets in the mens, with world number 6 and tournament top seed Adrian Buchan bundled out in just his first heat.
Buchan was soundly beaten by Gold Coast teenager Chris Bennetts who’ll now take on Catherine Hill Bay’s Sam Lendrum.
