Last week’s flooding on the mid north coast has prompted a temporary ban on ocean trawl fishing off four rivers.
The move is designed to protect fish stocks off the Bellingen, Nambucca, Macleay and Hastings river mouths, where juvenile fish have been flushed into the ocean.
