There’s been an invasion of German coackroaches in the Tamworth area.
Pest control companies have reported an increase in numbers, following the warmer weather earlier this month.
They say the cockroaches are smaller than other species and can easily hide.
To avoid infestations, residents are being advised to store food in secure containers, cover garbage bins with a tight lid, ensure homes are cleaned regularly and fix any leaking taps.
