Robina Town Centre is at the centre of a frantic search for a gun man, who held up an elderly shopper this afternoon.
Police say the man hit a 74-year-old woman on the head as she was getting into her car this afternoon, before stealing her handbag.
“It appears she’s been struck a number of times by a male offender that male offender has run off through the car park with her handbag.”
The victim is recovering in hospital.
