A woman has made a lucky escape after crashing her vehicle into a power pole on Nundle Road, near Tamworth overnight.
The driver managed to free herself from the wreckage before the car caught fire, engulfing the power pole and sparking a nearby grass fire.
The blaze was extinguished by New South Wales Fire and Rescue and the RFS.
Power has since been restored.
