Participants in Port Macquaire’s Relay for Life event will be walking and running into the evening tonight, as they complete the Cancer Council’s fundraiser.
Energy levels were high during the day, as locals of all ages took on the challenge.
Almost $19,000 has been raised so far, but it’s hoped the event will reach the final target of $120,000.
The money will go towards cancer research and support services.
