The North and North West show jumping society are gearing up for a big weekend.
Renowned international judge Graham Davey is visiting Tamworth for a two day clinic, designed to educate local officials on show jumping rules and horse and rider welfare.
It’s the first time in eight years a judges clinic has been held in the region, and comes as a direct response to growing interest in the sport.
North West Showjumping President, Annette Maunder says the sport is definitely growing and certainly at a junior level we’ve got quite a few participants in the North West and New England area, and we’re needing to have officials that have the appropriate accreditation for the shows that we’re running.
