Hardys Bay cartoonist, Bill Leak, remains in a serious condition in Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital, after falling seven metres from a balcony at John Singleton’s Mt White property.
The 52 year old, whose artworks appear in The Australian newspaper, was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
He’s since had two rounds of brain surgery but it’s still not known if there’s any lasting damage.
It’s understood Leak, who’s won eight Walkley Awards, was feeding birds at the time of his fall.
