Men across Newcastle are forgiven for thinking they were dreaming with their eyes open, as a gigantic amber ale floated through the sky.
The promotional hot air balloon would’ve caused some to salivate well before beer o’clock, as it made its way from Kotara South to Mayfield.
Standing at 30-metres tall, the mega beer’s volume is equivalent to more than 9.5-million stubbies, and its dimensions are in the ratio of a real schooner.
It even has its own call sign, just like a plane.
