Local croquet player Dick Smith secured victory in the New South Wales croquet handicap singles tournament at Ballina today.
Smith outplayed Forster’s, Ray Vize, taking down the visitor two games to one….but there were no hard feelings.
“It’s been going very well, I was lucky enough to win in the doubles.”
“We’re known to have a few beers in the croquet club afterwards. It’s not alcohol free.”
