A 66-year-old man is assisting police with their inquiries, after they uncovered a drug house in Mayfield this afternoon.
During their search officers seized around 50 cannabis plants, which were found in three rooms of the property.
This is the third drug house uncovered by police this week, with one at Wallsend discovered on Monday and another at Thornton yesterday.
