STUDENTS LEARN FROM NIDA ACTORS

A small group of Indigenous high school students, have been given the opportunity to learn acting skills and techniques from NIDA performers.
Two workshops were held to prepare students for an upcoming play, which will be a stage adaptation of a traditional Biripi story.
“We’re hoping it will be The Three Brother Mountains, with the blessing of our elders and everything.”
The play will run early next year at the Manning Entertainment Centre and will coincide with the Saltwater Freshwater festival in Taree.
