A man with links to an outlaw bikie gang has crashed his motorcycle after being followed by police at Mermaid Waters early this morning.
Police spotted the man driving erratically and attempted to pull him over for a random breath test, but the man ran his motorbike into a barrier, seriously injuring himself.
Several members of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club turned up at the scene but there was no confrontation with police.
