13 young people were injured in separate car crashes on Northern Inland roads overnight.
In one incident, eight people were injured when a station wagon hit a power pole off the Old Bundara Road near Inverell, just after one o’clock this morning.
The 19-year-old male driver was arrested after he allegedly returned a positive breath-alcohol test.
Late this afternoon, a 20-year-old man was flown from Tamworth to Newcastle’s John Hunter hospital with suspected spinal injuries.
