BANDIDOS MEMBER CHARGED ON CENTRAL COAST

A senior member of the Bandidos motorcycle gang, as well as numerous associates, have been charged following a police operation on the Central Coast and Hawkesbury.

As part of their investigation into an alleged kidnapping at The Entrance last month, officers attached to Strike Force Badminton searched three properties.

They allegedly seized amphetamine powder, methylamphetamine, cannabis, a replica pistol and other weapons from a property at Fountain Dale.

A 34-year-old man, believed to be the president of the Bandidos Central Coast chapter, was charged with kidnapping and commercial drug supply.

A 27-year-old man was also charged with kidnapping.

Meanwhile police allegedly found LSD tabs, knuckle dusters and a rifle at two properties at North Richmond.

A 41-year-old man will face Penrith Local Court today.
